First real entry
Now this will be OUR blog.
Inspired by our friends from the Valley of the Trolley Dollies we will now venture out and inform you about what is going on in our lives.
Us… Tor is Torsten and Jen is Jens - we are together for almost ten years now and we have been married since 2003…
I wonder if we will be able to post something here everyday but let’s try it…
We learned yesterday that our dear friends J,W and S from Pennsylvania will finally be flying to Germany to visit us. I have been penfriends with J for like 20 years and over the years have visited her and her family numerous times. Now it is time for the three of them to come and visit us. We are very excited.

HEY! This is J from Pennsylvania and I am touched that I was in the subject of your very first blog entry! I am also really excited to finally have plans to come to Berlin to visit you and Jens! I am looking forward to learning all sorts of new things and trying all sorts of German food and attempting to not embarrass myself by killing the German language!

now I know what a blog is, I just had a look into it. Hope you'll be able to find my comment as I wasn't sure where I should actually put it.
You're the first ones I know who have got a blog - how exciting.
I don't really recover from my summer flu because of the constant rain and I must admit that I never joined in when everybody complained about the heat wave - I rather enjoyed it even though I had to take showers every couple of hours.
Imagine, it's our school holidays right now and we have to be dressed like in October.
We want to stay here until August 22nd to say goodbye to David who will be going to the south of Italy (lucky him) then and then the three of us who are left behind will go on holiday, too. Looks like the south of France if the weather doesn't improve.
Hope you can enjoy the Hamburg wedding in spite of the weather.
